It is an honor to speak at this year’s meeting of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases (ISSVD) on New Insights into Vulvodynia Etiology (show time at 10:30am on September 18, 2019).

I’m bringing out the big guns…from my animal model of vulvodynia to brain imaging studies. Chronic vulvar pain is the body’s physiological adaptation to real or perceived threat, and there are MANY opportunities to reverse these adaptations to help women reclaim their lives.
